What is “an event”?

An event is a day of tournaments, feasts, and other activities, all in medieval costume. There are merchants, dances, games, the pageantry of a medieval court, and general merry-making. In effect, events are what the SCA is all about, and one is held just about every Saturday somewhere in Ontario. Our weekly meetings are not events. At most meetings we gather (in regular clothes) to practice, work on projects, and socialize.
