Murder Melee 2010
Report:
Thank you to all who came to Murder Melee this weekend.
It was a wonderful event with lots to do and lots to see.
It was good to see our Barony members continuing the tradition
of helping others. Our 5 person Archery team came in third in
the Archery Competition, our Fencing Champion Findhabair is now
a warranted Fencing Marshall, our fighters numbered 5 and so we
joined forces with Septentria and Skraeling Althing to be the
Ealdormere United FC (fighting club). We tied for fourth place
with one victory. Our Baron authorized in Fencing.
Some of the scrolls presented in court were done by members of
the Barony. They were beautiful artistic visions. It was
super wonderful to see Baron Tynne out and about. Selwyn
received the Boars Tusk from Ben Dunfirth for her work in the
Boffer Community, and House Black Patch received a Boars Tusk
from Ben Dunfirth for their security service. Lady Rosalind Pax
of Castle Rising was called into kingdom court since she was not
there Her Majesty assumed she was in a kitchen somewhere.
Grande Court will be held at War of the Trillium, so keep those
recommendations coming. Also if you plan to attend War of the
Trillium please let us know.
On another exciting note, Llewllyn ap Mogred was asked by
Mistress Rachel to be her student, and he agreed to the
relationship. Mistress Rachel also asked Baroness Rosalinda to
be her Apprentice and she accepted. Countess Tangwystl asked
Mistress Rachel's daughter Lady Elizabeth to be her Apprentice
and she accepted.
Thank you to all who helped us out this weekend, it was so kind
and very much appreciated.
Yours In Service,
Richard and Annabelle
Baron and Baroness of Rising Waters
