We enjoyed our Solstice Feast yesterday. Good company, Cheddar Yngveldr, Wulfwynne Blackwood, Wulfric of the Blackwoods, Penda and me, Sibylla all enjoyed interesting conversations, yummy food, gifts, and wishes were made and set ablaze. As usual, we didn’t take enough photos but here’s what we have.
We missed you all who could not make it out. Thank you, Martine for sending photos of you and Mike in your garb celebrating right along with us. Maybe you would like to share your photos?
We didn’t get around to making the mullein torches as it was too cold up in the Great Hall. Mind, the cauldron fire got pretty warm and the pinecones burned for quite a while. Hopefully, everyone’s wishes come true.
We did carry out the experiment, though, setting the mullein torch on fire. It was so windy, though, we brought it inside to observe and time it.
The next gathering is undetermined but will post once we know what’s happening.
Until we meet again, Merry Solstice, Happy Holidays.
