Pennsic is just around the corner as of the time of this missive! Pack your bags, sew your final garments, fix your armour, and make sure it all fits in your conveyance (and then repack when it doesn’t)…and for those who sadly can’t make Pennsic this year, we have the “Pennsic Pity Party”, AKA Murder Muster, happening the August long weekend in Merlin.
Post-Pennsic, we have some exciting events coming up, such as Middle Ages on the Green, Gwyl y Fflam-Autumn Flames, Stone the Crows, Brawl in the Fall IV, and most exciting of all, we welcome the Barony of Rising Waters to our lands to host the Coronation of Their Highnesses Crispin and Anne at Rockton Fairgrounds in September!
Huntsman’s Harvest, our favourite one-day event in our Barony, is once again the first weekend in October; we hope you will come join us at the Germania Club! With archery, thrown weapons, and the spectacle of the Hungry Barbarian Tournament, this event continues to be a great opportunity to reconnect with old friends or bring along new ones.
Lastly, but certainly not least, introducing Ascelyn of Ben Dunfirth as my Deputy Chronicler! We have worked on this edition together (so you know who to blame, heh..), and we hope that they will be the official Chronicler as of the Autumn edition (HE Meredyth needs a wee break!)
