Upcoming Arts & Sciences Workshops

April 7, 11:00 AM—4:30 PM

The Barony of Ben Dunfirth will host an Arts & Science Day/Sewing Practice on April 7th.

The workshop is graciously hosted Countless Arlette and Baroness Lucia de Enzinas. The event is free to attend. We will be passing the hat for donations towards expenses, however, please do not feel pressured to contribute.

This workshop’s focus will primarily be on sewing and fibre arts. There will be sewing machines, and lots of table space for laying out fabric, or any other arts & sciences projects.

Donations of fabric for new garb-makers and help with teaching are always appreciated. Please note that space is more limited than at the Lions Centre.

Important Notes:
  • The site is not accessible by public transport though carpooling may be arranged. Please do not hesitate to contact us to let us know you’re interested in attending and we will do our best to find someone who can help. You can also connect with others on the Facebook page for this event.
  • You are welcome to bring any arts and science project you want to work on. While we cannot guarantee that we will have experts other then our sewing ones available to help, there will probably be someone who can help you problem solve or just reassure you, no matter the project. If you make a mess, you must clean it up!
  • Be aware our hosts do have animals in their home (dogs and a rabbit). If you have allergies or your project my be ruined if pet-hair touches it, please plan accordingly.
