We have received information about Murder Melee in the Meadow XL, scheduled for June 5-8, 2025 at the Germania Park Campgrounds in Binbrook.

Armoured Combat: For new fighters, authorizations are scheduled for Friday at 6:30 followed by a Novice Tournament. Anyone authorized three years or less and have never won a tournament are welcome to enter the Novice Tournament! Armoured Combat authorizations is also scheduled for Saturday at 1130, and at noon there will be a round robin 5-fighter melee tournament. I call on our fighters in Rising Waters to assemble and be counted in this tournament! After the 5-fighter melee tournament, there will be a round robin 10-fighter tournament. Teams of 5 from earlier are welcome to pair up any way they like, and duct tape of many colours will be available to mark helms to avoid any confusion on who to hit with a stick. After that there will be Grand Melees…. Fight until you can’t any more!

Rapier Combat: Fencing will begin on Saturday at 10am with authorizations. A tournament of 10 on 10 begins at 11am, in a best of three battle. In the afternoon, the Ealdormere Academy of Defence (EAOD) will hold defense trials for those challenging prizes. Finally – pending confirmation – Master Giovanni de Enzinasis teaching a Harnessfecten Class – learn to fight in armour with spear, sword and dagger.

Rest assured, there will be plenty of time for Archery and Thrown Weapons!

The gate opens on Thursday night at 6pm for those wishing to stay for the whole event. Rising Waters will be there!
