With the Calling of the Crows, Their Majesties Ealdormere held court. The first order of business brought Baroness Sciath into court, to inquire of Their Majesties’ decision of the future of the Barony of Rising Waters. If you recall, during the Lady Mary Memorial Tournament, she had requested that Their Majesties consider allowing her to retire from the High Seats in the Fall. Since that time, several meetings were held so that the Rising Waters Community could meet with two sets of candidates. All four candidates acted nobly, and presented their visions for the future of Rising Waters. Our Seneschal, Baron Dmitri concluded the polling process, and the final tabulation of the ballots was done by Duchess Breyla la Vienette. The final decision lay in the hands of Their Majesties, King Gann and Queen Maegwynn.

Our minds may be put at ease, as Their Majesties have declared that Noble Mihko Pîsim and Umesaya Soukurou-dono are to ascend to the High Seats of Rising Waters, come the day of the Baronial Investiture!

To make the day more perfect, Umesaya-dono also won the spear tournament on the thrown weapons range. Wassail!
